Sarah Lawrence holds a BA in biology and a PhD in history, and is earning a Master’s degree from the school of Social Work at Rhode Island College. Lawrence currently holds a field placement as a Patient Navigator at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative in Providence, where she assists patients with locating and securing community based resources and supports. She also works as a research assistant at the Institute for Education in Healthcare at RIC, primarily contributing to efforts around forming a statewide Age-Friendly Coalition as well as developing and delivering behavioral health curricula for frontline health workers in Rhode Island.
